Recently, I’ve been exploring some creative writing, thanks mainly to the Write Hear, Write Now group at Chester’s Storyhouse.

I originally thought it worthwhile for honing my craft as a writer in my field of affiliate marketing. From the first session, I realised that I was able to write creatively, something I’d not done since I was a teenager. Then it was adolescent poetry about love, heavily influenced by the evocation of nature in poets like Edward Thomas.
I realised I could create characters and situations and tried a couple of short stories from prompts. The first A Scent of Death, you can download from the writings page. The second, Truck Stop, is available on Amazon.
Current projects are:
• Another Tuesday Morning in Manhattan, of an English graphic designer set in New York;
• and a historical family history based story, set in Nineteenth Century Suffolk and London.
